Ruben Henke specializes in fishing the waters around Niagara Falls and in the greater Toronto region and invites you along for a trip to remember.
The stunning scenery here includes local waters, including some spots that only the locals know about.
The name of the game around here is light tackle fishing, which is what you'll be doing on the day of your trip. Fishing is focused on float fishing and bottom bouncing techniques. Contact Ruben ahead of time so you know what to expect and come prepared.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Brown Trout, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Atlantic Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Lake Trout, and whatever else is biting.
You're welcome to bring a group as large as 4 on this guided experience. You'll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so be sure to dress for current weather conditions and bring only as much as you can carry.
Expect to get in touch with Ruben before the trip so you know where to meet and how to get there.
Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group may need to buy one . You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Plan to dress in layers and appropriate footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunblock, bottled water, and sunglasses, rain or shine.
