Fishin' Clinician Charters 

The trip was planned well ahead knowing full well that variables were in play. Once grandchildren’s schedules were sorted out, not to mention parents and grandparents, boat availability etc. The weather was beautiful, the lake was flat and the fish were biting! This was our second time out with the FishnClinician and I can’t say how much it meant to me seeing the smiles on my grandchildren’s faces. My goal to expose them to as many different activities as possible and thanks to the “Clinician” another was achieved

Captain Mike did not let us down. Even on short notice (we were only in town for another day), Captain Mike got us out onto Lake Ontario. He did warn us about challenging conditions, but we were up for the challenge. My oldest son and I primarily fished, and the rest of the family went along for the ride. Captain Mike did great in managing the boat, and the equipment. Despite all the challenges, Captain Mike stayed on course with a steady resolve and put us on fish. We were on numerous fights with fish, and we landed several beautiful Trout. This was a great lesson for my fishing buddy son - that everything doesn’t come easy or instant, and it takes some work to find fish. Mike was patient with my son and I as anglers, and kept an eye on the rest of the family as well. He let us know that if conditions got too difficult at any time we could turn around and go back in, & not to feel pressured to continue and finish the trip. I would not hesitate at all to go back out with Captain Mike. If he did this well in challenging chop, I can only imagine how good he’d be on an optimal fishing day! Picking a fishing charter can be a daunting task but look no further, this is the one. We were a party of 5 - 3 adults and two children ages 5 and 8. Fishin' Clinician was fantastic. We caught many trout out on Lake Ontario. The Lake itself is beautiful. Captian Mike was professional yet very fun. His personality truly made fishing a highly enjoyable adventure. He was very knowledgeable, provided top of the line fishing poles, tackle and equipment. The boat was clean, comfortable and well equipped for small or larger groups. Mike & Joe were fabulous! This trip was absolutely incredible and great memories were made! From the beginning to end, Mike had exceptional communication, ensuring our trip was setup for success. This was not our first charter and I can say that it was one of the best! The wind and rain did not stop us from getting great catch thanks to Mike & Joe! Taking two women out on a charter isn’t an easy task, these two men did an exceptional job remaining professional yet fun and entertaining! If you are wondering if you should book with Mike, do it!!

Captain Mike didn't disappoint. We came up for an afternoon trip. Started out slow and then we hammered them. Three 20 plus lb salmon at the same time. Mike walked my two sons twelve and fifteen through the process and we were able to land all three. I would definitely recommend him for family fishing trips!

This was my family’s first time fishing on a boat and on Lake Ontario. We couldn’t have asked for a better morning on the lake weather wise and we were out of the slip by 0600. As expected, Captain Mike was very knowledgeable with the lake and it was evident that his sole focus was ensuring my family of five had a memorable experience. Captain was very good with the kids and encouraged them every step of the way. Landing fish is never a guarantee, but we were fortunate for everyone to land a fish by 0900. The action slowed down after mid-morning, but the captain made us feel at home on his new 25’ aluminum boat. The boat had impressive fishing equipment and I never knew so many data was pulled to assist with trolling (all taken at depth of lures ) In total, the family landed 6 fish (4 x king salmon, 2 lake trout). The largest was a 23lb salmon. We definitely enjoyed our experience with captain Mike and the kids already want to go on another trip. Would highly recommend captain Mike, because he genuinely wants any group to have their experience of a lifetime.

We were lucky to be in the hands of very experienced crew and had a ton of fun and caught many fish as a result.

I do a fishing charter on every vacation we take. Captain Mike is among the best, and I wish we could take him back to Florida with us!
