He didn’t just take us fishing; he worked hard to make sure we had a great day on the water. Amazing fishing trip!!! Captain Marc and his wife were awesome! They had excellent equipment (Boat, rods/reels, tackle, etc). All that wasn’t just for looks either, they put us on fish! Very first cast of the day was my PB, a 25” speckled trout! Why wife is somewhat of a novice so captain Marc worked with her and had her casting and reeling um in like a pro! This was much greater of a trip than I’d expected. No BS, if you want to have a great day on the water, with great people, and go after some nice fish, stop scrolling and get to booking with captain Mark!

What an incredible experience! We had so much fun on our guided trout fishing trip that we immediately booked a second trip for the very next day. The fishing was absolutely phenomenal—we caught our limit of trout in just two hours! After that, we switched gears and went after redfish. I hooked into one that gave me the fight of my life and made for an unforgettable memory. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, I also caught a stingray, which was such a unique and awesome experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone had a great time from start to finish. My wife and I went on a bay fishing charter from South Padre Island, and it was honestly a bucket-list experience for me. We had an awesome time, even though we were both new to this type of fishing. We originally scheduled a 5-hour charter, but we were enjoying it so much that we decided to extend it for 2 more hours. That pretty much says everything about how good the experience was. Captain Marc and his wife Brandy were great from start to finish. Captain Marc was an excellent teacher, very knowledgeable, and a great communicator. He ran a safe, professional operation and was constantly working to put us in the best position to catch fish. We ended up catching our limit in sea trout, a 29” red drum that my wife caught after an epic fight, a few whiting, and even one catfish that we released. To top it off, Captain Marc recommended a local restaurant on SPI that would cook our catch, and that turned out amazing as well. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, well-run fishing charter in South Padre Island.

What a great experience. Capt. Marc was responsive and quick to commmnicate from the get-go. His years of experience really showed when everything that he said would happen, happened. “Might be slow at this time, will pick up around this time, fish will run this way, youll yet hits once they run this way” and like clock-work, it happened. We were a family of 4 with a bonus kid and this trip was perfect. We even had a non-fisherman, and she still had a good time when given a bonus pop-tart and saw some fun marine life! Even for skilled fisherman, Capt Marc gave some great tips and tricks for catching specific species like trout and redfish. I cant recommend Fish in the Box with Capt. Marc enough. Our memories are made and bellies are full.

My wife, son, and I booked a 5-hour in-shore trip with Captain Marc and his wife Brandy. It was everything a day on the water should be. We were targeting redfish and they delivered — we landed plenty of perfect eating-size reds throughout the trip. (my wife wants to add, tgat she smiled and laughed continuously for 5 hours on the water with Captain Marc and Co-Captain Brandy; what a win-win!!) But what truly set this experience apart was the boat and the operation behind it. Captain Marc’s boat was absolutely immaculate — and I don’t use that word lightly. You could tell immediately that this is someone who takes serious pride in their equipment. At cruising speed, the boat was so quiet I had to remind myself there was an engine running. We glided through the bays peacefully, which made the whole experience feel more like a retreat than a charter trip. That level of investment in their boat and gear says everything about how Captain Marc and his great wife Brandy run their business. Speaking of which — Captain Marc and Brandy were incredible hosts. Easy to spend all day with, genuinely warm, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made our family feel completely at ease from the moment we stepped on board. My wife was able to kick back and relax, my son had a blast, and I was able to enjoy some of the best inshore fishing I’ve experienced. When you fish with a guide, the condition of the boat matters more than most people realize. A pristine, well-maintained vessel creates an atmosphere of safety and confidence that lets you actually enjoy the trip. Captain Marc nails this. You can feel the care and attention in every detail — from the tackle to the hull to the way they treat their guests. Capt Marc and Brabdi were great and put us on fish after about 30 minutes. tjis was my wifes first trip ever and and rhey were attentive to her needs. The first fish was a keeper spec and the rest of the day was 5 red fish, all slot sized. I kept the spec and had it for lunch. great experince, enjoyed time wirh Marc and Brandi. i will use them in the future! thanks guys.

I have been wanting to spend time on the water with my son-in-law and Fishing Booker led me to Marc. Along with another young friend we spent a fun and productive three hours on the Laguna Madre. We started somewhat slowly but finished the trip with a flurry of Black Drum catches. Marc and Brittany were friendly and very professional and very interested in giving us a good time. I recommend them highly to anyone wanting a South Padre island bay fishing experience. I would highly consider using them again.

Captain Marc and his wife Brandi were fantastic. They took great care with my girls and put us on fish. The personal touch of a phone call the day prior to discuss starting the day earlier to ensure a good catch was a great touch. These are good people and it shows. We will definitely book again. Last point: they put my 13 year old daughter in position to catch her first monster Bull Red, a 30 inch giant! Cant wait to book on our next trip down to South Padre!!!!
