Today We Fish Outfitters specializes in drift fishing and wade fishing the flats in the bay for Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum and Speckled Trout. If you’re an angler who enjoys to catch, photograph, and release – by all means, you are welcome to come on board, just as well as those who want to keep their catch!
You’ll be fishing on a 25’ Majek that accommodates up to 5 guests. This bay boat is powered by a 300 hp Suzuki engine, features navigational electronics, a live bait tank, and a cooler. A licensed USCG Captain with all the necessary safety equipment on board, so you can feel safe and enjoy your fishing trip.
You’ll fish with lures, both hard and soft, You can also use live bait at an additional fee such as live shrimp and croaker (extra cost) Don’t miss out on the chance to fish with a popping cork the way Trout like it.
All your fishing equipment, catch cleaning, and refreshing drinks are covered by the captain. You’ll need to bring your fishing license and pack some snacks for the day.
No matter what type of trip you choose, it’s a sight to be seen. And yes, the big Redfish and Trout do come out and play.

From start to finish, this experience was memorable, fun, and incredibly well run. Captain Steve was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. My 7 year old son hasn’t stopped talking about the adventure and was thrilled with everything they saw and the amount of fish they caught. What really stood out was how family friendly the trip was while still being exciting and engaging. You can tell Captain Steve genuinely cares about creating a great experience for his guests. If you’re looking for a fun outing near South Padre that both adults and kids will love, this is it. We highly recommend it and would absolutely book again!

Our guide Captain Steve was excellent. Hes very knowledgeable and personable. His equipment was all in great shape. He made sure my wife and kids were comfortable, He worked with them on casting. great with kids. Fishing was a little slow due to bad weather the previous day but he didnt give up. He took us to 10 different spots making sure we had the best experience possible. I would highly recommend him and hope to go out with him again sometime. His boat was very spacious and well… it kicked a**. Thanks again Captain Steve for giving us a great experience.

Big Thanks to Captain Steve. He helped make a memorable fishing trip for my family. He made both my daughters feel very comfortable the whole trip, and gave them great advice on casting. We used live bait and lures throughout the trip leading to a successful fishing trip. He took us to multiple fishing spots as the bite changed. We caught 7 trout and 1 redfish in the slot, and many more outside the allowable slot size. My daughter even caught an oversized 25" trout. Thanks for memories Captain!!

I would highly recommend booking Captain Steve. He was helpful and very knowledgeable. He had a nice and clean boat and packed ice cold drinks for us. First spot we stopped at was slow so he moved us to a second spot and we were able to catch our limit in two hours. He didn’t cut our time short and let us keep fishing our full 3 hours. He even had good recommendation on where to take our fish that night for dinner. I would book with him again next time we’re in town.

Captain Steve is the real deal! From the moment we hit the water, he had us on the trout. We reached our limit of speckled trout by 9:30 AM, and the action was nonstop. He clearly knows the waters around South Padre like the back of his hand. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-outfitted. Steve was friendly, professional, and made the entire experience fun and stress-free. He was great with everyone on board, patient, helpful, and always working to keep us on fish.
