Mario's Fishing Mission invites you to experience the stunning waters of Rockport. With Captain Mario at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands to explore the waters of Copano Bay.

Flounder, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Redfish, and more inhabit these waters if you come at the right time of year. For these species, you're likely to troll using light tackle.

Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

You'll be casting lines from a 20' Shoalwater bay boat with room for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

You will need to supply fishing license for the day , so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Don't forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
