There's a fish with your name on it in Freeport, NY and the Keel Hauler will help you catch a haul of a lifetime!

Depending on conditions and time of year, you might hook into Fluke, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Tilefish, Black Seabass, Scup (Porgy), Striped Bass, Ling, Thresher Shark, Swordfish, Mahi Mahi, and anything else that bites. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Paul & AJ have a lifetime of experience on the water with both attending SUNY Maritime. We are highly trained on safety and have all the required USCG equipment.  We believe in teaching kids to fish while they're young, just like we did.
Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board.
We specialize in targeting the fish that are biting day and maximizing your trip.
Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!

Your day begins aboard a 42' Provincial downeast with space for 6 passengers. It is outfitted with top-of-the-line tackle for all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 20% tip.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen, sleeping bag pillow on overnights.  Hard Alcohol is not allowed beer/wine accepted.
