Massapequa Park has a fish with your name on it, so let Geraldine Virginia Fishing Charters help you catch it!

Striped Bass, Bluefish, Sea Bass, Cobia, Cod, Fluke, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Black fish, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Thresher Shark, and more can be found in these waters if conditions are right. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Phillip can also have you Flounder gigging.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Bring your lunch and drinks. You're welcome to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

Capt. Phillip runs a 25' C-Hawk Pilothouse with space for 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but sometimes not necessary.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, that's okay. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Now, come aboard with Geraldine Virginia Fishing Charters and get hooked!

Fantastic Trip
Striped bass half day trip on November 15, 20252 adults
Captain Phillip did a great job finding and keeping us on the fish. My son and I like casting with light tackle using different techniques. We landed multiple stripers in the 25+ lb range. The trip was great and we look forward to booking Captain Phillip again.
