Make an adventure out of your next trip in Christiansted and go fishing with Day Break Charters. Captain Alex will be your guide, allowing you to benefit from years of angling experience.

Around here it's common to catch Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Cubera Snapper, Rainbow Runner, Blue Marlin, and more, depending on conditions. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.

You'll be dropping lines from a 32' Boston Whaler center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Caught our dinner!
8 Hour Trip on June 3, 20262 adults

This was a great trip to experience with my teenage son. he caught 2 barracuda and 5 skip jack tuna, including a giant 13-15pounder. Captain Alex and his first mate were great instructors and answered all the questions we could throw at them. I hope we can do it again in the future.
