Key Largo has a fish with your name on it, so let Bout Time Sportfishing help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Tj is prepared to put you on fish.
These waters are known for Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Bonito, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Tj can also show you kite fishing.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Capt. Tj runs a 42' Hatteras sportfishing vessel with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% or more tip is customary, based on your trip experience.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunblock, a hat, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
And that's it! Your fishing trip with Bout Time Sportfishing is just a click away.
