Depending on the time of year, we may catch Yellowtail Snappers, Yellow Jacks, Mangrove Snappers, Mutton Snappers, Barracudas, Tarpon, Bonefish, Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Lemon Sharks, Jack Crevalle, Cobia, Snook, and a few other species.

We operate a 24' Edgewater bay boat, accommodating up to 4 anglers, and fully equipped with top-notch gear. We've got the best: Shimano and Penn tackle, a Minn Kota trolling motor, Garmin electronics, a Power-Pole shallow water anchor, and not one but two large live wells. This setup guarantees an absolute blast and a successful day on the water.

Charters include all the necessary licenses, bait and tackle you will need. We have a cooler on board with ice and bottled waters. We recommend that you bring what you would like to eat and drink while out fishing.

Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray) and a hat.

What a trip! Captain Bryce did some reconnaissance the day before our trip. He came fully prepared (live bait in the boat already).  His hard work paid off. We caught multiple fish including a 130lb Tarpon.  It was a beauty and a catch of a lifetime! You can’t catch fish all the time but you can hire a captain that puts in the work, comes prepared, and puts you on fish. Highly recommend Captain Bryce.

Bryce was a great captain. he put a lot of work into it before and during our trip. Highly knowledgeable great to be around and a lot of fun. I would totally recommend booking with Above the cut. I will recommend to my friends that may go to the area to book here. Listen to the captain on what to do and how to do it, he's the pro, and you'll have a great time
