If you're looking to fish on Lake Michigan, look no further than Angry Pirate Fishing Charters. Having logged many hours on these seas, Captain Bill is prepared to put you on fish.
Species like Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, Lake Trout, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, there are several sizes available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your trip begins aboard a 27' Triton walkaround that holds up to 5 passengers. It comes with downriggers, divers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can purchase them from your Captain. Check with your captain before purchasing fishing licenses on your own to be sure you purchase the correct one for your trip.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen, a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid glass bottles.

Best Charter Ever Taken!!!
No question the best charter ever taken!! Capt. Bill and team are hands down great fishermen, instructors, and most of all have a great time!! We were just three ole country boys from SC in Lake Michigan, so didn’t really know what to expect, but our expectations were greatly exceeded. Would recommend taking a trip with Capt. Bill to anyone that wants to catch fish and have a laughable good time on Lake Michigan.

We all had a great fishing trip with Bill and Dave. The weather was perfect and we all caught a lot of BIG fish.Bill the captain and Dave the mate were real professionals. Great trip, cut short by weather
Great captain, great second mate. Put us on fish right away. Friendly, knowledgeable and easy direction before, on and after the boat. We had bad weather and had to cut trip short. Captain was concerned for our safety which was good to know.

7 hour trip
We had a great experience with the Angry Pirate Fishing Charter on Lake Michigan. Bill knew that we were looking to catch King and Coho and he knew that since it was July they would by in the Northern waters. Bill gave us the option to take the long boat ride up north to get what we were looking for. Man are we glad we took the trip. Bill and his First Mate not only put us on the fish all day, but they took the extra time to travel up to the fishing grounds where the fish were at that weekend. We left with coolers full of fish and a great time. We already booked our trip for next year. If you are looking for a great experience charter fishing on Lake Michigan, then I highly recommend Bill and the Angry Pirate crew.

Fantastic Multi-species Fishing aboard Angry Pirate Charter
A great mix of magnum coho salmon, steelhead, kings salmon and lake trout were caught aboard Angry Pirate Charters on Lake Michigan out of East Chicago Marina. Captain Bill and his first mate, Dave, did a fantastic job of putting us on fish and keeping us on them with non-stop action. Great boat ride and flawless operation from the equipment on board the vessel. Everyone had a great experience and all fish were filleted by the crew for us to enjoy!
