If you're looking to fish on Lake Michigan, look no further than Angry Pirate Fishing Charters. Having logged many hours on these seas, Captain Bill is prepared to put you on fish.

Species like Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, Lake Trout, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, there are several sizes available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

Your trip begins aboard a 27' Triton walkaround that holds up to 5 passengers. It comes with downriggers, divers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can purchase them from your Captain. Check with your captain before purchasing fishing licenses on your own to be sure you purchase the correct one for your trip.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen, a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid glass bottles.

Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Angry Pirate Fishing Charters.

7 Hour Trip – Offshore (AM) on May 30, 20262 adults

Captian Bill knows the area and the setup needed extremely well. We left the marina right on time and he brought us directly to where the fish were. We could not get all of the lines out before we were catching fish. Dave the first mate was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to help my father and myself limit out on lake trout and Coho. I will be planning another trip to visit Bill next year.

My passion for fishing started with my dad at the age of 7. For most of my childhood and teenage years, I fished inland lakes competing with my dad. As time passed, the need for a challenge and something new was in the works. I started salmon fishing with a friend. My first ever salmon was a 18 pound king salmon out of East Chicago. From that moment on, I was hooked. I could not get enough or learn fast enough. For the next 5 years, I fished with friends and family, while going to almost every salmon seminar I could find in the area. In 2016 I fished my first tournament and we ended up winning. For the next six years, I fished many tournaments. We were very successful and became known around the southern end of Lake Michigan. In the late spring of 2023 I decided it was time to share my passion and skills with others. The excitement I get from watching others fight the biggest fish of their lives is like no other. I hope to see you on the water soon.
