Depending on conditions, you might hook into Black Marlin, Sailfish, Giant Trevally, Mahi Mahi, Great Barracuda, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Bigeye Trevally, Blacktip Trevally, Bluefin Trevally, Golden Trevally, Amberjack, Wahoo, and who knows what else! For these species, you're likely to troll.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea to keep up those energy levels!
Your trip begins aboard a 21' Sea Cat center console with capacity for 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food provided on board.

Our recent fishing charter in Barra, Inhambane, aboard Jigalouw was nothing short of amazing! Captain Ronaldo made sure our family had a fantastic time, sharing his deep knowledge and enthusiasm for fishing. The boat was well-equipped, and we had an unforgettable day on the water, catching loads of fish and enjoying the beautiful Mozambican coastline. We were so busy reeling in fish that we didn't have time to take photos of all our catches! Here are just a few shots from our trip. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Mozambique.
This was an incredible experience. We aren't the most experienced fishermen, so captain Ronaldo and Mafo were very helpful in giving us tips that certainly helped us catch fish. There were also plentiful snacks, including salami sandwiches, oranges, popcorn, along with water. 10/10 amazing time.
