Join Captain Fred for light-tackle ocean Salmon fishing, Rockfish, Lingcod, and late-summer Oregon Crabbing. With over 40 years of experience on these waters, Fred knows exactly where the action is.
Southern Oregon’s ocean Salmon season runs through August 31st, with year-round bay trolling to keep the rods bending. Crescent City, California, also has ocean Salmon openings in June, July, and August, and Fred runs select trips from his home port during those dates.
All gear is included, and Fred will fillet your catch at the end of the day. Our 23' center console is perfect for families and small groups, fully outfitted for a safe, fun trip on the water. Just bring your license, appropriate clothing, sun protection, and your favorite drinks and snacks. We'll go over all the details with you before the trip.
Please note: for ocean trips, dates may be adjusted by the captain based on ocean and weather conditions. Your safety and comfort always come first. Captain Fred will reach out to you directly before your trip to review the forecast, discuss conditions, and confirm the best possible day to get you on the water.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 30 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
