Rotorua has a fish with your name on it, so let John Hamill help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these lakes, John can tell you all about the local fishery.

Depending on the lake you can target Rainbow and Brown Trout by soft baits, spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialised in this area. John also offers fly fishing depending on the time of year.

Young ones are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to keep their stamina going! Tea / Coffee and light refreshments available on all trips.

Your time begins aboard our 6m (19') Buccaneer 605 Cuddy cabin with space for 5 passengers. Named after a famous NZ trout fly fishing fly ‘Hamills Killer’ and has all the essentials for your comfort on the water.  All gear will be provided.

If you need a fishing licence these can be supplied on board as we are Fish and Game licence agents and can be paid for on the day.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
