Capt. Garrett Ross Charters is owned and operated by Captain Garrett Ross, who has spent most of his life fishing the Georgia coast. Based out of Savannah, GA, Capt Garrett offers a range of inshore, flats and backcountry fishing charters.

Your vessel will be a 25’ bay boat powered by a 300HP Suzuki four-stroke engine. It comes equipped with GPS and fishfinder, accommodates up to four anglers comfortably, and features a wireless trolling motor, a large livewell to keep all bait alive and healthy, an ice box to store your catch, as well as fly fishing equipment upon request.

Capt. Garret Ross Charters offers trips from 2 to 8 hours, and will have you targeting a range of species, including inshore fishing for Bull Reds and Tarpon in the sounds, or fly fishing for Tripletail and Redfish, among others. Trips include the use of quality rods, reels and tackle, including fly fishing gear, live bait, lures, fishing license, and cleaning and bagging of your catch.

Although Capt Garrett loves fly fishing and casting artificial lures for all of the sport fish in these waters, he really just wants to catch fish. Because of the amount of nutrition in this water system, the visibility can make using lures and flies difficult, so he always comes prepared for every situation. If that means bottom fishing with cut bait, or live bait under a cork, then he is happy to do so. Having fished all over the world, he often applies tips and tricks he has picked up from other places right here in these waters. His equipment is high quality, because he feels that it not only helps catch more fish, but it improves upon the customer experience - nobody wants to spend their hard earned money and feel like they didn’t get the best experience possible. He is not just a “boat driver”, but an obsessed fisherman himself, and has a passion for watching fishing sport shows.
