These waters are home to Mahi Mahi, Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, Amberjack, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Snowy Grouper, Blue Marlin, Black & Yellowfin Tuna, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year. Young ones are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your vessel for the day is a 26' World Cat Catamaran that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Salty Tail Charters!
