These waters are home to Mahi Mahi, Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, Amberjack, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Snowy Grouper, Blue Marlin, Black & Yellowfin Tuna, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using our high end fishing equipment provided
Young ones are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your vessel for the day is a 26' World Cat Catamaran that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks. Alcohol is allowed please avoid glass bottles.

We had an amazing day on the water and caught plenty of big fish! Captain Ty was incredibly patient and laid-back, even when we made mistakes like bird-nesting the line or getting tangled while fighting fish. Captain Ty and First Mate Ry kept our lines baited and gave us plenty of helpful guidance, which made the trip fun and successful for everyone. We brought our three kids, ages 11, 14, and 16, and they all had a great time. I had no idea how much work it takes to reel in saltwater fish! Be prepared to be tired afterward—we all needed naps, including Mom and Dad. We hooked a shark but lost it, and we caught snapper, bonito, mahi-mahi, and triggerfish. It was a fantastic family experience, and we would highly recommend fishing with Captain Ty and Ry!

Our group is still talking about our trip. It was an amazing time. Tyler and Riley were terrific. We caught Cobia, Red Grouper, Red Snapper, Trigger, Tile, Bonita and a few sharks! To put it plainly, it was like fishing with some old friends. And the music playlist was spot on! I would highly recommend Salty Tail to everyone and I plan on booking again in the future. Captain was top notch, put us on fish all day long. First mate was awesome too especially having our 3 daughters with us. Lots of laughs and lots of fish. I highly recommend this charter if your looking to catch fish and have a good time. We will definitely be back next year

Capt. Tyler and Riley were great. This was one of the best charters and most productive I've ever had. We said we wanted Mahi and they got us a limit and some bonus fish with a 25lb Ambejack to boot. Awesome boat too, clean and comfortable! My biceps are sore today! Pay extra and do the 6 hr trip, trust me! Trip Ill never forget. Thanks Capt Tyler and Riley. Wish you guys the best of luck.....we WILL be back soon!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
