If you're going to cast a line in the Moriches waters, look no further than Just One Bite Charters. With Captain Paul Nilsson at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide. First time fishing, or not yet a pro? Have now worries, all tackle is easy to use and captain is willing to so you how to catch fish. As for the experienced anglers who may be in town on vacation, i have quality equipment specifically for the fish you want to target. He has 50 years of fishing experience, with 30 of those years in the Moriches area. The boat is a 25' 1996 Bayliner Trophy cuddy walkaround with a hard top. A recent repower in 2020 with a 250 mercury 4 stroke will get you to the fishing grounds quickly and quietly. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.
Striped Bass, Bluefish, Cod, Flounder, Scup (Porgy), Black Seabass, and more could be biting, depending on conditions.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Paul was great he was intuitive and very knowledgeable of the waters he quickly saw we weren't gonna catch are desired species and we quickly changed over to fluking and the fish started hitting the boat all in all a great charter a great day on the water all thanks to captain paul at one bite charters and am happy to say we will be using tgis charter again in the weeks to come

My son and I were on LI for a Lax tournament and were looking to fill the afternoon with some fishing. We had a fantastic time! Paul was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. The boat was clean and well equipped. He put us on fish right away and my son caught his first stripper! I would highly recommend captain Paul. We'll definitely be back next year!

We had a great day fishing with Captain Paul! While the boat is a bit older, it’s been re-powered recently and ran beautifully, making for a smooth and comfortable trip. Captain Paul really put in the effort, taking us to four different spots — and every one of them produced fish! The highlight of the day was a 26-inch doormat fluke that was an absolute beauty. You can tell he knows the local waters well and is dedicated to making sure everyone has a good time. Highly recommend fishing with Captain Paul if you’re looking for a productive and enjoyable day on the water!
