Departing from Morehead City, we offer everything from nearshore trolling and wreck fishing to offshore adventures and our specialty—Deep Drop Slow Pitch Jigging. Depending on the season and trip, we’ll chase Mahi, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Amberjack, Grouper, Snapper, Black Sea Bass, and whatever else is ready to THUMP a bait or jig.
Nanny’s Revenge is especially proud of our jigging program. If you’ve never felt a fish absolutely crush a slow-pitch jig hundreds of feet below the boat, you’re missing out! We provide quality tackle and can put beginners on the rod while still giving experienced jigging addicts the kind of trip they’re looking for.
But catching fish is only part of what makes a great charter.
We want laughing, trash talking, bent rods, screaming drags, high-fives and memories. Families, kids, first-timers, experienced anglers and hardcore fishermen are all welcome. You don’t need to know everything about fishing—you just need to show up ready to have fun.
Nanny’s Revenge was created in memory of Captain Shane’s mother—the “Nanny” behind the name. Her battle with cancer inspired a charter built around making the most of the time we’re given, creating memories, and doing something we genuinely love.

The weather was spectacular, the captain was great, the day was perfect. Early morning start with a beautiful sunrise. Dolphin swimming along the boat. We caught some fish that we could keep and then some that had to be thrown back. Captain Shane cleaned the fish for us and we cooked them for dinner with his recommendations. Thank you Captain Shane. We will book again when we are back on island.

We offer inshore, nearshore, and offshore Gulf Stream fishing year-round targeting wahoo, tuna, mahi, king mackerel, snapper, and grouper. Operated aboard a 2025 Sea Fox 268 Commander, we specialize in private charters, family trips, hardcore offshore adventures, ash-scattering memorial cruises, and scenic coastal tours.

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site is not included in trip rates.

Pay online in full through FishingBooker and save on credit card fees at the dock.
No additional fees.
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
