HuddaHoo Sportfishing
Make some memories in Beaufort and go fishing with HuddaHoo Sportfishing. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Josh knows them forwards and back.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Wahoo, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), King Mackerel (Kingfish), Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Almaco Jack, Sailfish, Black Seabass, Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, and plenty more. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your excursion begins aboard a 27’ Center console with twin Yamaha engines and room for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water is available free of charge but plenty of cooler space for any food or drinks you bring along. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid glass bottles.

Josh and his mate Shaggy were awesome! They were super interactive and consistently made sure I was happy with the experience. I told them I wanted to catch a variety of fish and that's exactly what we did. Shaggy helped me get all my fish cleaned and really made things nice for me. I highly recommend giving them a try!

Thanks for fishing with us Dallas! I’m glad we could show you a good time and help you fill the cooler with some good meat to take home!!

Have fished with Captain Josh 3X this year. Have not been disappointed. He works hard for you. The equipment is first class. The boat handles the water well for its size. Although rougher days might mean a ‘no go. I prefer it to the larger boats, due to better interaction with captain. I intend to book him again.
Great day fishing with Josh. He always puts me on the fish. Great captain with a lot of experience and knows how to find Wahoo!
I have loved fishing as far back as I can remember. Growing up in rural NC it started with ponds and rivers and in my 20s I found my passion is in offshore fishing and since then I never stop learning new ways and new species. A few years ago I decided to take the proper steps to run a charter boat so I could share my love of fishing with everyone!
