Make some memories in Puerto Plata and go fishing with One More Fishing Tour. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jeffrey is prepared to put you on fish.
These waters are known for Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Skipjack, Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!" On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
You're free to bring home any fish you catch, provided they're within limits. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home without any hassle. Enjoy it later that day or pack it away for months later.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll find yourself aboard a 38' Rampage 38 Express sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 15 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food on board as well.
