Fish PaTroll Charters offers Salmon Charters on Lake Michigan out of Pier 31 Marina in Manistee Michigan in July, August and September. With Captain Larry at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and Lake Trout. You'll target your catch by trolling.
Fish PaTroll Charters welcomes kids aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Snacks are also a good idea to keep up those energy levels!
You'll find yourself aboard a 33' Tiara sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
You will need to buy a fishing license before the trip. 1 day licenses are available and licenses may be purchased online.

I have done many charters over the years. Captain Larry has a very nice boat and tackle. he was very well prepared and put us on fish quickly. Larry and his first mate Eric worked their tails off and we ended up with a cooler full of filets. I look forward to fishing with them again and definitely recommend!

Everything you need for an outstanding afternoon of fishing! Captain Larry and his First Mate Phil had an extremely efficient and effective system that saw us bring in 12 total fish for the three of us (10 King Salmon and 2 Lake Trout) with most of the salmon averaging between 14-16 pounds. Their effors to make the trip an enjoyable and productive experience went beyond reproach....in other words we wouldn't hesitate to book a trip with them again!

On a very foggy morning on the big lake, Captain Larry was laser focused on our safety. With the help of mate Eric, they had us fighting king salmon, lake trout and steelhead the entire trip! I would highly encourage anyone to book a trip with Captain Larry and Fish PaTroll charters.

Larry knew exactly where to go to find the Kings, his crew was great with my 7 and 9 year old boys. The boat was immaculate and well cared for. Everyone had a blast, we will be back again next season forsure on board the Fish PaTroll.
