Located on Kent Island, Biff Fishing Charters offers trips fishing for Striped Bass and Bluefish in the Chesapeake Bay. Captain Justin Kaufman has been fishing these waters for more than a decade and knows the area like the back of his hand.
Come and experience all the Chesapeake Bay has to offer on the 46' Markley performance fishing boat 'Biff.' Biff can carry up to 6 people and is propelled by a powerful 660 HP Caterpillar engine. It has a huge deck with ample space for everyone to get involved in the fishing action. The cabin offers protection from the elements in case of bad weather.
Everything needed to fish is included in the charter. When the crew goes trolling, they run up two 32 rods at a time making you extremely unlikely to come away empty-handed! Later in the season, they live line for Striped Bass by using live spot as bait on light tackle spinning rods. Whichever method you use, you are sure to have an enjoyable trip.
After the trip, anything you catch will be cleaned and filleted for your convenience, so you can take the fruits of your labor straight to the table. It's on you to bring a pair of polarized sunglasses as well as some drinks and snacks if you're so inclined.

We caught a ton of fish, I didn't have to do anything gross (😅), and my fiance got to do his own thing as much as he wanted. It was very tailored to our needs and it made it a great day. Both the captain and first mate were terrific!

Half Day Trip (AM) on July 15, 2023 • 6 adultsWe booked a half day trip with Biff Fishing Charter, with Justin as our captain. He took us about an hour north at a pretty good clip where the stripers were biting just south of Baltimore. When he saw we weren’t getting any bites, he moved us twice. Then in about a 20-minute span we caught our limit, two stripers each for the six in our group. He and his mate assisted us with bating using live spot fish, as well as helping us to navigate around each other to help land our fish. His mate also cleaned, filleted & bagged our fish for take home. Because we caught our limit early, we took our time getting back to the marina, stopping to fish for spot fish bate and croakers. All in all a great experience!

Half Day Trip (AM) on May 21, 2022 • 4 adultsWe booked a half day (6 am to 12 pm) of Striper fishing with Captain Justin. We arrived this morning at the dock at 5:30 am and he was ready to go. The boat was extremely clean and well organized. Captain Justin knew exactly where to go and we had our limit within 90 minutes. My two teenage daughters had a blast catching the fish and we had an amazing day on the Chesapeake. When we returned to the dock Captain Justin cleaned the fish and we had a nice cooler full of delicious Striper. We actually ate it for dinner tonight following one of Captain Justin's recipes and it was wonderful. I would definitely recommend Biff Charters to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing day of fishing. I know we will be booking another trip in the future.

Great day on the water.... Captain and Mate friendly and easy to get along with. Caught some nice stripers!
Captain Justin was amazing. He kew exactly where to go, was helpful, hspitaabe, beautiful boat & was focused on making sure we made the most out of our 6 hours on the water. We will definitely be back.
