Mike and Celeste were wonderful! Good communication leading up to the trip and they got us out in the water right away. They took care of the hard work- manning the boat, setting up rods, and netting the fish. My husband and son were able to reel in about 20 salmon during our time on the water. The pinks were abundant that day. They also got two coho and a king that was slightly too small to keep. We were dropped off at a marina where we could arrange to have the salmon filleted and shipped to us at home. Mike suggested smoking the pink. As a person who generally does not like seafood, even I can say these are delicious! Thank you again to Mike and Celeste for being fantastic guides. My son and husband really enjoyed fishing and I loved being out on the water viewing the wildlife/scenery and of course acting as photographer. Highly recommend!

Mike and Celeste are a husband and wife team that make for a perfect trip for couples. My wife doesn’t really fish but still had an enjoyable experience. We got to experience a little Alaskan rain as well as some calm water. We saw a humpback whale and a sea otter. We also were fortunate enough to catch some fish. We kept a Rockfish, an Coho and 3 Pinks. We also caught 5 undersized Kings and had 6 other fish pull off (including a nice coho and pink that came unbuttoned right at the boat). I would highly recommend them as an alternative to a more commercialized excursion where they try to fit as many people on your boat as allowed.

The personalized attention, local knowledge, and stunning Alaskan scenery made this one of the highlights of our trip. We enjoyed an unforgettable day on the water and would highly recommend this excursion to anyone wanting a more intimate Alaskan experience. The captain and his wife were incredibly sweet and made us feel right at home.

This was such an amazing experience. Mike and Celeste were helpful, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. We especially appreciated their attentiveness and it felt like they were truly excited to be there with us. The private boat makes a difference. We were able to catch 2 coho, 3 pink, a small king, and a multitude of other small salmon. Captain Mike came on board with a plan on where to fish to give us the best opportunity to catch fish. We also were able to help them check their shrimp traps making the excursion especially unique and special. At the end of the trip they were able to get us set up with getting the salmon overnight shipped back to our house. When we got back to the boat, we overheard two guys talking about their fishing excursion. “I’ve had better fishing at Myrtle beach. Jerry caught a small one at the very end, but I didn’t catch anything.” We highly recommend this trip and are extremely happy we booked with Captain Mike over the fishing excursions through the cruise.

I could not recommend Mike and Celeste enough. The husband and wife crew were excellent, knowledgeable, engaging and answered all of my questions as a new traveler to Ketchican. while our trip started slow in the catching, they showed their knowledge and made an excellent adjustment. The trip went from possibly being skunked to 8 salmon. GREAT WORK BY MIKE AND CELESTE. Will be booking again with them.
