We specialize in two passenger charters. All trips are private so you will have the boat to yourself!
If you are visiting on a cruise ship, we have hourly start times throughout the day. Please select a start time the hour after your ship docks. For example, if your ship arrives at 7 am select the 8 am time. If you arrive early that's no problem we'll be ready to go fishing as soon as you arrive!
Depending on the season you might hook into Chinook Salmon, Chum Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Ling cod and plenty more. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Kids are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll be dropping lines from 'Skye Boat' a 21' Pilothouse with room for 2 passengers. It is equipped with downriggers, rods, reels, and tackle and all the essentials for a memorable day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
It is required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. We can assist with sending your catch home.
A few items to consider bringing include jacket, camera, binoculars, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. There will be some light snacks available on board.

I could not recommend Mike and Celeste enough. The husband and wife crew were excellent, knowledgeable, engaging and answered all of my questions as a new traveler to Ketchican. while our trip started slow in the catching, they showed their knowledge and made an excellent adjustment. The trip went from possibly being skunked to 8 salmon. GREAT WORK BY MIKE AND CELESTE. Will be booking again with them.
Michael and his wife Celeste made this a fantastic experience for me and my father-in-law. Not only did we catch fish, we had very close encounters with humpback whales, which was absolutely amazing! Michael communicated with me prior to arriving in Alaska since I had never fished up there and was nervous about everything coming together seamlessly. I would highly recommend them to anyone if they want a great experience. 
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re cruising through Ketchikan and looking for a private excursion experience, this charter is an absolute must! The personalized attention, local knowledge, and stunning Alaskan scenery made this one of the highlights of our trip. We enjoyed an unforgettable day on the water and would highly recommend this excursion to anyone wanting a more intimate Alaskan experience. The captain and his wife were incredibly sweet and made us feel right at home.
This was such an amazing experience. Mike and Celeste were helpful, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. We especially appreciated their attentiveness and it felt like they were truly excited to be there with us. The private boat makes a difference. We were able to catch 2 coho, 3 pink, a small king, and a multitude of other small salmon. Captain Mike came on board with a plan on where to fish to give us the best opportunity to catch fish. We also were able to help them check their shrimp traps making the excursion especially unique and special. At the end of the trip they were able to get us set up with getting the salmon overnight shipped back to our house. When we got back to the boat, we overheard two guys talking about their fishing excursion. “I’ve had better fishing at Myrtle beach. Jerry caught a small one at the very end, but I didn’t catch anything.” We highly recommend this trip and are extremely happy we booked with Captain Mike over the fishing excursions through the cruise.
I had a spectacular  half day of fishing with Captain Michael and his wife. I caught a half dozen king salmon unfortunately they were too small to keep also caught a coho salmon and some rock fish. Definitely recommend this captain. I would do it again.😎
