Your guide Capt. Jeremiah specializes in heavy tackle fishing and/or trolling with downriggers, which is what you'll be doing on the day of your trip. Jeremiah will provide rods and reels, lures and bait.
Our local waters around Ketchikan AK are known for Halibut, Salmon (Chinook, Chum, Coho & Pink Salmon), Lingcod, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few!
Fish that are legal to harvest are yours to keep, have processed and (at the client's expense) shipped to your doorstep. Jeremiah will guide you through the local waters aboard a 32' heated cuddy cabin that holds up to 6 passengers with a private flushable restroom.
Everyone in your group should buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can find out more online. Please be sure to dress in layers and suitable footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunscreen, and sunglasses, no matter the weather.
Jeremiah will have bottled water for you. If you wish to bring your own or have a special request, please ask. Ready to spend time with the whole family and unplug? Then you'll be glad to know that kids are more than welcome. Capt. Jeremiah has child-sized life vests you can borrow, or bring your own.

My hubby & I came up to Alaska to be salmon fishing for my 80th BD. That's what I wanted to do to celebrate. Jeremiah & his son Liam were great. Helped us when we asked for help reeling in our fish, & were always courteous & professional. We caught 1 silver & 2 king salmon that we kept. Several were too small & we had to let them go. Our kings measured 36 inches & over 31 inches! Jeremiah even told us the locals have trouble catching fish like we did. I felt very lucky! He's also processing our catch & FedExing it too us once we get home so we're going to eat our fresh catch for awhile. I'd book with him in a heartbeat again. I know you won't be disappointed. Hope you're a lucky catching kings a we were!

We both caught our halibut limit and 1 keeper salmon. We caught an amazing halibut that was a non keeper because of size. It was a great time! Captain Jeremiah and his crew were knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and personable. While out fishing he spotted several whales and made sure to point them out to us. He also offered processing services. Great service and great trip! Will book again!

Jeremiah's communication was excellent from the moment we booked. He picked us up and dropped us off just steps from our cruise ship. The best part was he had us contribute to the experience. He didn't just put the line in the water and have us reel when a fish was on. The weather wasn't great but we did catch 4 salmon. Jeremiah even kept us out an extra hour to get us on more fish! From start to finish this was a great experience. Thanks Jeremiah!

If i could only use one word to describe our trip with Captain Jerimiab if would have to be. Amazing! Caught a ton of fish, saw eagles, and sea lion, and even whales. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

The Captain took care of everything. Recommend him. we even saw numerous whales along the way! Met us at our ship and dropped us off in town to explore Ketchikan. Would book him again.
