Chinook Salmon, Chum Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Halibut, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Trips with Santa's Choice Charters are fun for all ages, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks to keep 'em happy!
You'll step aboard a 28' Fairline sportfishing with room for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
We are located away from the cruiseships so you will have to take a cab to the boat. This is accounted for by our price being lower than the boats located in town. The benefit? We are much closer to the fishing grounds and can give you more fishing time on the water and less time running to the fish!

What an amazing day! Booked a half day (sadly all the time we had), for my husband and myself. After we caught our halibut limit the Captain switched to salmon fishing ao that we could catch more and boy did we! Everything from the meet up to the boat ride, to the fishing, and helping us arrange to get our fish home, was seamless. If you are lucky enough to hook up with Captain Alexander, you are lucky enough!

My sons & I are fishing guides in South Florida. We booked a 4 hour Salmon fishing charter with Captain Alex. We caught a lot of different species of salmon and 2 halibut (kept 1). He made everything very easy for us. I think that if you’re a new fisherman, you would love his charter. He also does a lot of cruise charters.

He spent his first 3 years training under a local guide before he started his own company in Ketchikan. This area is known for Halibut, Coho Salmon and Pink Salmon and you'll get to catch them using bottom fishing, trolling, or other techniques. The only way to learn is to join them on the water.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
