    13th Birthday Trip

    4 Hour Trip (PM) • 3 adults • 2 children

    This trip was for my son and his best friend to celebrate my son’s 13th birthday. The boys both caught a lot of fish and they both caught a shark as well. The captain was great, he stepped in and helped the boys when they needed it, but otherwise he just let them fish and that was exactly what they wanted! Definitely a great trip overall!

    Overall, a good trip!

    3 Hour Trip - 2:00 PM • 4 adults

    Captain Spencer was friendly, and our crew had a good time. He was flexible and helped us reschedule due to weather. The reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because our trip was scheduled for 8-11, but actually ran until almost 1:30 due to some equipment issues and difficulty catching bait. The possible time change would have been helpful in the planning phase because we may have been more prepared for a longer outing. We still really enjoyed it!

    Wonderful experience

    4 Hour Trip (AM) • 2 adults • 1 child

    Had a great time. Caught more Spanish mackerel than we knew what to do with. Caught nice sized founders. And even picked a couple of sharks: one 4ft long bonnethead and grey reef shark(?) Of about the same size. All in 4 hours.

    Beautiful evening with lots of fish and a shark or two

    3 Hour Trip (Sunset Fishing Trip) • 4 adults • 1 child

    Kids all got turns reeling in fish and adults had fun too trying to reel in a spinner shark. beautiful sunset evening with some early July 4th fireworks. Captain was courteous and professional and very knowledgeable. We had a great time.

May 10, 2026 • Morehead City
Wow what a day! Started the morning casting for bonito, Spanish, and blues and it was absolutely fire. Then switched over to look for some greys and they did not disappoint — landed one just under 7.5 pounds along with a few nice flounder. Ran off the beach a little after that and found a couple triggers and even more flounder. Nonstop action from start to finish today!

Put the smackdown on the convicts today. We kept our limit, all fish 20 inches and above, and released another 30 quality keeper-sized fish. Also landed 3 nice black drum to top it off. Solid day all around!
