Captain CJ runs a small yet versatile boat, comfortable for up to 3 guests, and ideal for fitting into tight inshore areas other boats cannot reach, yet still with plenty of freedboard to handle some chop.
You're not just booking another fishing trip, you're booking an experience that you will remember for the rest of your life. Exploring South Florida's inshore and offshore waterways is an immersive experience, full of incredible scenery, wildlife, and most importantly, incredible fishing! Captain CJ takes it upon himself to make sure you experience all of what this fishery has to offer.
Capt. CJ operates a 20' NauticStar bay boat that holds up to 3 guest passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included is always included as long as it is available.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. Bottled water will be available for you, but feel free to bring your own drinks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just please avoid hard liquor until you step off the boat.

The day our trip was originally scheduled turned out to have a small craft warning issued. Yikes! Captain CJ left us know the day before we would not be going out. Fortunately, we were able to reschedule and the weather was great. We didn't catch a ton of fish, mostly due to my inability to set the hook in time. CJ did put us on a school of Blues and the catching went wild. Those crazy fish hooked themselves. we also caught some small snapper fish. Overall, it was an exciting experience. Captain CJ is a personable and very capable guide and boat handler. He certainly knows where the fish are likely to be and how to spot them. This was my first inshore trip. The good Lord willing it won't be ny last. Thanks to CJ for a memorable experience!

Great Outing! Took my kids and myself out for 4hr inshore, hit many different spots and caught some nice fish! my son landed a nice size Jack and my daughter a nice sized Snook. a few snapper and others in-between and even a small shark. Will definitely return when back in the area. 👍👍 Thanks C.J

CJ was prompt and kept me informed. He had good equipment and was knowledgeable about the area and what was happening. Unfortunately, the weather turned on us with wind and rain and we had to cut the trip short. CJ was very helpful in working with Fishingbooker to get us a partial refund. I would use CJ again.
