Back Bone Charters welcomes kids aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea to keep their stamina going!
Capt. Keith runs a 19' Ocean Bay flats boat with room for 3 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Keith will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I can't recommend this trip enough! Captain Keith was an excellent guide - enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and passionate about the water. He knew exactly where to find the fish, and the action was very consistent. At one spot, we caught 15+ snook on nearly back-to-back casts! In addition to snook, we landed redfish, trout, jacks, snapper, permit, and even a 4.5-foot blacktip shark. We also hooked into an enormous tarpon that leapt out of the water. The scenery of Everglades National Park was just incredible. We watched sharks hunting in the shallows, spotted a manatee, and even saw a crocodile off in the distance. The boat was perfect and well-equipped. The meeting spot was also convenient and easy to find. This was a truly amazing adventure that way exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you, Captain Keith, for an unforgettable day on the water!
We wanted to target Snook and Captain Keith put us on some right away. We ended up catching 3 and a series of other fish, including sea trout. We also fished a couple Everglades environments that had really tremendous wildlife (in addition to good fishing). Captain Keith was personable and ensured we had a good time.

Got the 6-hour charter for my wife’s birthday. She had a blast seeing all the beautiful sights of the back country while also catching snook, trout, ladyfish, and jacks. We also saw dolphins, manatees, sharks, and tarpon. We kept four trout and got them made for us at Hog Heaven, after Keith fileted and prepared them for us. Delicious. Keith gave clear instructions and was always amped up and ready to make our experience the best it could be. All in all an amazing day.

Capt. Keith showed my son and I to a very enjoyable fishing trip, the boat ride itself to our fishing spots was amazing, we caught numerous fish, he was always willing to help with our tackle, sorry Keith about pole…. and was never overwhelming for us amateurs.. look forward to the bext adventure

I had a great time with you and your son.

4-hr trip fishing in the Everglades National Park. Landed many speckled trout, jacks, and ladyfish. We hooked a tarpon in the 50-lb range, which jumped once and was never to be seen again. And had a smaller fish ambushed by a hungry blacktip. Toss in some wildlife (sea turtles, white pelicans, and about 3 dozen flamingos), and it made for a great day. A big thanks to Captain Kevin.

Thanks Mike it was a pleasure fishing with you today. Capt. Keith

I spent my childhood alternating between two iconic South Florida landscapes—Biscayne National Park, with its crystal‑clear waters, mangrove‑fringed shorelines, coral keys, and reefs just off the Miami coast, and Everglades National Park, our national treasure of sprawling marshes, sawgrass prairies, and mangrove forests stretching across over 1.5 million acres of subtropical wilderness. I was constantly drawn to Flamingo, tucked into the southern reaches of the park, or heading out onto the Gulf Stream whenever I had the chance. Yet above all else, bonefishing captured my heart—those swift, ghost‑like bonefish stalking the flats became my lifelong passion—South Florida hosts some of the best bonefishing in the world, especially in Biscayne Bay and the Keys. Now, I'm excited to bring you along on a journey—let me show you the full spectrum of what South Florida fishing has to offer, from winding tidal creeks and remote Everglades backcountry to reef‑lined flats and bonefish super‑highways in Biscayne Bay and the Keys.
