Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Black Drum, Cobia, and anything else that bites. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your boat for the day is a James Hudson sportfishing boat with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Jack has rods and reels for you, along with lures.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 20% tip.
This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Water will be available for you.

You can tell right away how much he truly cares about his guests and his craft. He didn’t just drive the boat; he kept us safe, stayed laser-focused on the radar, and put us right on top of the action. His communication and passion are completely top-notch.Down on the deck, his mates Mason and Reed are absolute machines. These boys know how to catch fish, period. They never stopped moving, keeping the lines wet, the bait fresh, and the energy high. When we hit a school and everything went chaotic, Mason and Reed were cool as cucumbers, gaffing fish, resetting lines, and coaching us through every fight. They are fantastic workers who hustle harder than any crew I’ve ever seen.We were absolutely hammering them all day, filling the coolers, and reeling until our arms were sore. 4 Hour Trip – Nearshore on July 23, 2026 • 5 adultsWe battled the elements and won! Even though we got caught in a thunderstorm we ended up catching quite a few Blues and Spanish Mackerel. We even saw lots of Dolphins along the way. Captain Jack was spot on for navigating us to the best fishing spots and our first mate Mason was efficient in every way. They were both very friendly and we enjoyed their company. We had a great time and would highly recommend this duo to anyone that wants to have a fun filled inshore fishing adventure. Thanks for the memories!!

It was close to shore adventure - it was a a great trip for 2 of us (we will take 4 next time). Capt was responsive and clear as to the game plan. His wife Ashley was even at the dock to take pics when we returned. Fish was cleaned and bagged. We are 100% satisfied. we will be a return charter.

The fishing was alittle slow but they warned us about that when we arrived. we still caught several spanish mackerel and they even took us out alittle farther to let my kids try for a shark. All around a great experience, great crew, comfortable boat. We will definitely book again when we are back down next year.

Mason let the boys take over once they got the hang of it and we even caught him playing rock, paper, scissors with out 10 year to jeep him enterained when the bites slowed down. Had an awesome time on this fishing trip! We were out on the water for about four hours, and every one of the six people in our group caught at least four or five fish. We were catching bluefish and Spanish mackerel all day long. Honestly, if we hadn't lost a few while fighting them and trying to get them into the boat, we probably would have landed another 8–10 fish. The captain was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard to keep us on the fish. The deckhand Mason was equally amazing, always helping out, keeping lines untangled, and making sure everyone had a great experience. Whether you're an experienced angler or just looking for a fun day on the water, I highly recommend this charter. Everyone in our group had a great time, caught fish, and left with great memories. We'll definitely be back!
