Flamingo Beach Bay Watersport has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Playa Flamingo. Captain Jonathan will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from their knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Great Barracuda, Yellowfin Tuna, Amberjack, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Black Marlin, Cubera Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blue Marlin, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!' During the trip you might be spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Jonathan welcomes you aboard a 28' center console with space for 4 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Jonathan has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Flamingo Beach Bay Watersport.

we came down specifically for billfish and on a half-day trip. we knew the odds were against us but neing experienced fishermen this is what we wanted. They told us out the gate that its been slow and that we could do some in-shire fishing which was better. we told the Captain no we know ots fishing but want to try billfish. Capt Jonathon worked hard. He was doing everything that we would have done of we were fishing back home. we had four knockdowns, and had one MONSTER bull durado swim throuhh the baits. But ot was not to be. Still a great experience and Capt Jonathon is a very experienced fisherman. we will be back!
Took the 4 hour inshore trip. The wind picked up throughout the morning, but it was manageable on the boat. The Captain and Mate were top notch. They knew the waters well and gave us every chance to catch fish. We trolled with lures and did catch a couple smaller bonita. Just not much biting. Switched to live bait and got two really nice fish on the line. Unfortunately they both broke the line before we could get them in. They kept trying until the very end, even stayed over the 4 hours just trying to get us on more fish. Word on the radio was nobody catching anything that morning. Captain and Mate did a great job and went over and above expectations. Definitely recommend them for future trips!
Me and my girlfriend booked a full day of chasing rooster fish. From the second we got onto the boat the captain and deckhand were super friendly and explaining our game plan for the day. They have tons of fresh fruit and drinks to keep you energized and hydrated for the full day along with lunch! Conditions were tough but the crew didn't stop trying once and always explained what our next move was and why not leaving us in the dark wondering anything. We ended up finding some water that looked productive and it produced. My girlfriend got her first big rooster and is still smiling from it. We did have a couple others chase and hit the baits around but just didn't want to commit but that's why we call it fishing and not catching! These guys know how to guide and do it well. Can't thank them enough and will be booking with them next year to chase roosters again!

We went in mid-March with Captain Jonathan and First Mate Carlos for a half day trip. The day was a bit windy so they started us off in the bay following the birds and caught a small jackfish right away. As we mulled about, we later caught a small black ahi tuna. We did come for the big guys, but we had to wait for the waves to calm a bit in the open waters, once they did we moved out of the bay and they setup the rigs for the big fish. We saw a couple of big sailfish, one hit our bait but ultimately they were uninterested and the day was a bust on catching anything else. We would love to try again during rainy season when the fish are more active! Overall, zero complaints about the trip because Capt Jonathan and Carlos tried the entire time to troll and get us a catch. Super friendly and the fresh fruit & drinks was a really nice treat! Hope to have time to do a full day someday!
Carlos and Jose provided a great day of fishing. My husband and I with our 2 boys (age 17 and 19) all had a great time. We caught red snapper, needle fish and tuna. They provided a variety of drinks and served fresh cut pineapple as a snack. Having a bathroom on board ws a nice bonus. Overall, it was a great day with knowledgeable guides!
