Located in the “home of American fishing” – Destin, FL – Cinnsational Saltwater Fishing runs amazing nearshore trips targeting a range of species in the Gulf of Mexico. Captain Chris Mitchell has almost 40 years of fishing experience. He and his first mate are highly skilled in all techniques and are just the guys to help you reel in the biggest fish.
You’ll cast from a 26’ Sea Fox center console, powered by twin 150 HP Honda engines. It comes rigged with everything you need for a day on the water. There are top-of-the-line rods and reels for a variety of fishing techniques, an onboard toilet, and even a multimedia system for that extra little bit of comfort.
Capt. Chris and his crew know all the sweetest spots in the Gulf’s nearshore. You’ll get to choose from a range of lures and dead bait, and you can buy live bait as well. You can decide whether you’d like to troll, spin, or jig to try and reel in your target. Take home a prized catch at the end of the day, and the captain will clean it for you.
Expect to go after a range of prestigious game and table fish, such as Gag and Red Grouper, Spanish and King Mackerel, Amberjack, Triggerfish, and even Red Snapper when in season. You can also run into Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Shark.
The crew will do all they can to make sure your trip with them goes above and beyond your expectations. Capt. Chris loves to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with seasoned anglers and first-timers alike. With water and Powerade provided to keep you hydrated and energized, just bring some snacks to keep your tummies full.

Great Day, Happy Kids
Captain Chris did a great job on a beautiful day on the water. Caught plenty of snapper on our first stop with everyone constantly reeling in fish, then moved out to look for bigger fish our boys wanted to hunt for. Found bigger fish including a redfish that had my 11 year as pumped as he ever been, and a bunch of grouper for the kids to fight. Captain was great with the kids, and even my 7 year old that didn't want to get up in the morning said it was the best part of our trip. Brought back enough to feed a house full of 30 for a seafood boil and stories my kids will tell anyone who will listen.

Perfect excursion for new saltwater anglers!
I booked this charter based on other reviews. Captain Chris did not let us down! Our three hour excursion was perfect for two kids (9 and 7) who have never been fishing. Chris had us on fish constantly from the first line we dropped in the water. He offered plenty of encouragement to my son. If things slowed down for a moment he had us move to another spot with more action. The kids loved the variety of fish we pulled up from gray triggerfish, snapper, squirrelfish, and porgy. We had a motor malfunction as we tried to move to one last spot for the day. That cut the day a little short, but these things happen from time to time. The kids had a blast…and that is what matters most! They can’t wait to go again! Thanks Captain Chris!

Amazing day with the family.
Captain Chris was great with my two boys. He got us on fish right away. I think we caught over 30 fish and 12-13 keepers in just 3 hours. I would highly recommend going with captain Chris. He knows where to go and he is easy to fish with.
