Hallinginfish Charters and Tours 

We booked a half-day fishing charter with David at Hallinginfish Charter and Tours, and had a great time! David is a top-notch captain who got us on some red snapper pretty quickly. He is professional, friendly, and very attentive, making sure we had a great experience out on the water. We would have loved to catch a few bigger fish, but that’s fishing! You can’t control what bites, and Captain David did an excellent job. The boat was nice, and we felt we were in good hands the entire trip. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, personable captain who works hard to make your trip enjoyable, we highly recommend David and Hallinginfish Charter and Tours. We will definitely go again! 🎣 Next time will be a full day!

My wife and I had came to St. Augustine to do several things, fishing was one of those things! We had a truly great time fishing with Captain Dave Hall. We caught a lot of small fish, which were not keepers- plenty of action just the same, but Captain Dave got us hooked up with a couple very nice king fish and a very good sea trout - after he filleted our catch we had approximately two gallon size freezer bags of fillets heading back to Kentucky to be guest for dinner! I am from the school of hunting is not always killing and fishing is not always catching! Sometimes you need to just get away from the crazy and simply LOOK around you- we had a great time, perfect weather, a very good Captain, a nice boat with air conditioning (when Captain Dave latched it back - great breeze!). All in all, a blessed day to enjoy God's creation and make a new friend. If you live in St. Augustine - you have an incredible place to call home - so many amazing things to see and do here. Capt David showed us a great time! We caught red snapper, trigger fish, and jack we agreed to allow biologist from Florida Wildlife Commission to join us. He tagged most our undersized fish and tight us a lot it was so fun!! We caught so many fish!! I would definitely do this again

well worth it to go out! captian takes his time and will put you on the fish! great time out will have a repeat visit for sure!

We had a great trip with David and his wife Kelly. They were very accommodating and personable. We originally planned an offshore trip, but it was pretty rough and we decided we would prefer to fish inshore since my wife can get seasick if it's rough. We ended up catching our limit of mangrove snapper and had action for the entire trip. We had a great time. There were 3 of us and we were able to fish comfortably. The boat was very nice and in good shape, same for all the equipment. Definitely would recommend and plan on fishing with David again next time I'm in town.

We had an absolutely awesome fishing trip with Captain David! From the moment we left the dock, everything was smooth and professional. We headed offshore and were on the fish in no time—ended up filling the cooler with a great variety of catches. The boat was super clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable for the ride. Captain David clearly knows his stuff and made the entire experience fun, safe, and successful. Highly recommend booking a trip—you’re guaranteed a great time on the water and plenty of fish to show for it!

He was very knowledgeable with the best areas to catch, and the types of fish we were catching. Dave showed up equipped with all necessary safety equipment for any situation that could possibly arise. Very friendly and personable, and even filleted our fish for us once we got back. 10/10 would recommend booking a fishing trip with Dave!

We had a blast, captain Dave was great,I just wish the fishing trip was longer than 4 hours.did not really bring alot of fish back because of the time line,but it was a blast,thanks captain Dave!

Awesome fishing charter! Captain David and his wife were both easy people to be around and most importantly put us on lots of fish. Would definitely book them again.
