If you plan on fishing on Lake Powell, look no further than Papa Woody's. With Captain Eric at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
He started fishing on Lake Powell with his dad as a young boy over 30 years ago. He wants to be able to give his clients the excitement and pleasure that Lake Powell has given him over the years.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Walleye, Catfish, Smallmouth Bass, Striped Bass, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, and plenty more. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You'll be fishing aboard a 21' Hewescraft sportfishing vessel with room for 4 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.
Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is not allowed.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Papa Woody's.
