Reel Gypsy Fishing is here to help you experience the stunning waters of Dauphin Island. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Nick can tell you all about the local fishery.
Fish like Sheepshead, Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, and more inhabit these waters if you come at the right time of year. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Capt. Nick will bring you aboard a 23' Kenner bay boat that holds up to 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Nick will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Reel Gypsy Fishing will make it easy for you to go fishing in Dauphin Island. So, how about booking that trip?

4 Hour Trip (AM)
It was August and 9 degrees past hotter than hades so going into it My expectations weren't high but it was my first opportunity ever in salt water and I am in no way disappointed. Captain Chase put in the miles trying to get us into fish and while We didn't limit out We got into some, We got to see some other really cool scenery and My son hasn't stopped talking about it yet. It was definitely worth the ride I'd definitely go with him again albeit I'd shoot for earlier in the year.
