Our trips are family-friendly, so bring the whole crew and enjoy some unplugged time together. We just ask that all children wear life jackets (we have a variety of sizes — feel free to ask ahead), and snacks are always a good idea to keep everyone fueled for fun.
You'll fish aboard a 23' Steiger Craft pilothouse, outfitted for serious angling and comfort. The vessel accommodates up to 5 passengers, features the latest electronics and includes all the gear you'll need — rods, reels, tackle, and lures.
Need a break? No problem, plenty of seating and hangout space! There's even a toilet onboard for your convenience. A First Mate will also be onboard to assist, this gives you a more personal one-on-one guidance and an awesome learning experience! Gratuity of 10–20% is appreciated for their hard work.
Please note: Fishing licenses may be required for all anglers — check local regulations online or ask Captain Chris directly. Some species may have specific limits or tagging rules, so it's good to come prepared.
Don't forget the essentials! Bring sunscreen (non-spray preferred), sunglasses, bottled water, and your favorite drinks (alcohol is fine in moderation — just no glass or hard liquor, please).

The captain put us on the fish early and often. i had a 16 yr old and an 11 yr old who were first-timers. Captain was very patient while showing them what to do and answering any questions.
fished with big red and capt ron july 12th . ron knew where the fish were and got us on them quickly the four of us limited out by 9 am . it was the first time for 3 of our group and ron was very good about letting us get involved with the process. would strongly recomend using Big Red sport fishing to others
Captain knew where the fish were hit our limit under 3 hours. Very helpful good time. Definitely returning to do this again
