These waters are known for Amberjack, Pacific Barracuda, Jack Crevalle, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Blacktip Shark, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your vessel for the day is a 34' Radon sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

The crew was totally coordinated on landing the fish. Especially on the marlin which can be quite dangerous. They fished the whole time which is how we got the Mahi about 3 miles out of the harbor.

But here’s where the magic happened: Captain Jeff and Joe turned a seasick saga into an absolute blast!
These two are the real deal—super skilled, funny, and bursting with aloha spirit. Despite the barf-fest, they tended to every queasy adult and kiddo with such compassion, you’d think they were part nurse, part fishing wizard.
