This is not a fish from the boat trip. We will be fishing the surf from either the beach or wading. The boat is used as transportation to Cedar Bayou. If you want to do a bay fishing trip from the boat, please send me a special request.
The name of the game around here is light tackle fishing, and that's what you can expect on the day of your trip.. Chase will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait.
These waters are known for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Blacktip Shark, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time.
Fish that are legal to harvest are yours to keep. Chase will even clean your catch for you so it's hassle-free when you get home. Have a cooler ready in the car! You'll navigate the local waters with a 25' Center console with room for 6 passengers.
Be sure to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. You're encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunblock, bottled water, and sunglasses, rain or shine.
Children are welcome to come along. They should always wear life vests, so find out if Chase has the right size available or bring your own.

Great captain. Incredibly good with my 3 sons (13, 8,5) and easy to switch gears with the adults. Chase worked his tail off to keep everything going. Caught 17 good size fish in a short amount of time. Great memories we wont forget.
The captain was incredibly kind and worked so hard to make sure we had a great time. We caught plenty of fish and even landed a huge shark at the end. Everything was well-organized and safe, and the atmosphere on the boat was fun and relaxed. My family and I truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this fishing trip. We will definitely be back again.

Chase, our guide, was awesome and very knowledgeable. we had teenagers with is and he was very patient with them as they were new to this. definitely recommend him.
