On these trips, it’s common to bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Jordan Abel also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
You'll be casting lines from a 29' Sportfishing that holds up to 5 passengers. It has a fighting chair, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
