We had a lovely morning out in the boat with Justin. Our son was very chuffed about catching his first big fish. We caught another keeper then our daughter caught a Finger Mark. It wasn’t big enough to keep but she was happy with her fish. Justin worked hard to get us into the best spots possible. We went straight to Tia’s Cafe on Justin’s recommendation and had them cooked beautifully. So yummy! Thanks for a fun morning Justin. 😊🎣👍

As a fly fishing guide in Canada, I understand that some days can be downright tough. Cyclone conditions had hit Cairns, and it was pretty much a tossup. Justin was beyond transparent with what was currently going on in the water, but I was happy to have a day on the boat. On days like these, it really comes down to the captain. Justin used his experience to find fish on a day where the fish were not wanting to be found. He kept our group both amused and interested on a day that wasn’t an easy day to catch fish. He did find us some nice specimens and we took them to a brilliant little restaurant he recommended to us that cooked them to perfection for us. Beautiful day, good company and a top meal to top it off. We highly recommend this skipper.

Through no fault of Justin, our capt, we caught a few small fish but the keepers eluded us.  Justin got some really good bait for us but sometime you just cannot make them eat.  We enjoyed the great waterways of Cairns and Justin is knowledgeable about both the fishing and area.  We enjoyed his company and would recommend him.
