Around here it's common to catch Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Blacktip Shark, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Bluefish, Ladyfish, Whiting, and more, depending on the season. On these trips, it's common to using light tackle, and fly fishing with all the gear provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll be casting lines from a 17' Cayo 173 skiff with space for 2 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Logan has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included if needed.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. Bottled water will be available for you in a cooler with ice where you can add any of your own snacks and drinks.

I have been out with Logan multiple times, so many awesome experiences and amazing fish! Great guy who really knows how to find the fish and lets you chase after them with the strategy you prefer. Redfish on topwater is pretty hard to beat! Can't wait to chase reds on the fly next time! I strongly recommend booking a trip! Always a great time when Aquabeast RJ gets on the boat. Cant wait for our next adventure especially those redfish on the fly. Glad we also got some sick content for the Aquabeast youtube channel and had a great day on the water.
Awesome nighttime surf shark fishing trip! Logan and Jack were fantastic guides—knowledgeable, helpful, and made the experience a lot of fun. My son Maddux landed two big spinner sharks, which was definitely the highlight of the night. Highly recommend!

Captain Logan was at the boat ramp ready to rock before I arrived. He was extremely knowledable about flies , leaders, presentaion..his rig was neat, clean and perfect for the super skinny waters of NC...cant wait to go again!
