If you're in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Headshaker Charters. With Captain Robert, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
You'll fish for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and more, depending on the time of year. During the trip you will be using spinning rod set ups, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Robert also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Young ones are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Child-sized life vests are available! Also remember to bring snacks or purchase them from the marina store.
Your vessel for the day is a 24' Yellowfin center console with space for 6 passengers or an 18' Hells Bay flats boat for smaller groups (up to 3 people). It comes with all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live and dead bait is included!
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Water's and ice are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Robert gave my 12-year-old son and me an unforgettable day on the water. He had us on fish almost immediately and kept us catching throughout the trip. His knowledge, patience, and ability to read the conditions were impressive. The highlight of the day was watching him trust his instincts and move us to a spot where the redfish were actively tailing. Captain Robert was great with my son, making the trip fun, educational, and exciting from start to finish. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable guide who works hard to put you on fish I can’t recommend Captain Robert enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Captain Robert was awesome! He was on time, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. We caught around 7 fish during our 4-hour trip, which made for a really fun day. It was my 8-year-old son’s first fishing trip, and he absolutely loved it. Great experience all around, highly recommend Captain Robert!
Robert had us in the fish and knows some great spots. We caught 9 redfish on a 4 hour trip, several over 30 inches. Kids had a blast. Was the highlight of our beach vacation. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Robert took us to a few spots and we got bites at each of them. Due to the weather, we only caught two spot tail bass, and missed an unknown monster. He was tentative and had extensive knowledge of the waterways. I will definitely book again next time I am in town. If you want someone local that will put you on some fish, look no further! Thank you for the good time.
We booked a Father/Son fishing trip for fathers day weekend and Robert with Headshaker charters did a phenominal job! He was especially great with our 3 boys. They caught over 9 redfish in just a few hours along with other fish. We highly recommend him and will definitely use him again next time were back in the area.
