The small island of Aruba could be called a fisherman's paradise. Surrounded by deep waters thanks to a steep drop off close to the island's shores, you can find a variety of game fish just minutes away from the harbor. Take a trip aboard Thaisa II to experience the thrill of fishing in Aruba with an enthusiastic crew that will do everything to put you on the fish.

Thaisa II is a 36' Bertram flybridge boat. This boat retains its original features that gave Bertram its respected name in the sportfishing world, while keeping up to date with safety appliances surveyed every 6 months to ensure the safety of everyone on board.

Powered by twin Cummins engines, the boat will take you to the best fishing spots quickly and dependably, while also being a comfortable vessel to fish off. With a television in the living area, 3 beds for relaxing and a galley with a sink, the boat also features a large deck with three fighting chairs so everyone can be part of the action.

Whether you want to troll for game fish, bottom fish, or simply go snorkeling around the island, the crew aboard Thaisa will work hard to make sure your trip is one to remember. With deep water only a few minute's boat ride from the harbor, you could be in with a chance of catching fish right from the start of your trip.

With potential catches including Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, and King Mackerel, this is a recipe for a sportfishing trip you will never forget.

Hop aboard Thaisa II and experience the amazing sportfishing the island of Aruba has to offer!

Fishing with Thaisa II
Half Day Trip (AM) on June 1, 20252 adults
My wife and I had a great time fishing with the Thaisa II and their crew. It was my wife's first time deep sea fishing and she had fun. The first mate Ricky was great and was able to tell us stuff about Aruba and the surrounding area as we headed out. After a while of fishing caught a Wahoo. Shortly after we started hitting some Mahi-Mahi. When we got back Ricky filleted what we wanted to eat and let the crew have the rest. We walked it over to Lucks restaurant at the dock and they cooked it for us. Overall we had a good time and great laughs with Ricky! Definitely will recommend.

A Day in Aruba on the Sea
Full Day Trip – Fall Discount on November 11, 20252 adults
We booked an 8-hour day on the water knowing Aruba can be windy with some substantial waves. I highly recommend a boat this size (35') that can handle the seas with ease. Although the boat is a bit dated, we always felt comfortable and safe; especially appreciated the three fishing chairs. Our guide, Joel, was pleasant company, very skilled, and worked tirelessly to keep us on the fish, constantly changing out baits. We ended the day with 4 barracuda and had a truly splendid experience!

Great Aruba experience
Half Day Trip (AM) on July 17, 20252 adults
The boat owner and crew were able to accommodate my sister who is mobility challenged so she could come enjoy the fishing experience. The captain was knowledgeable of the waters, the mate was informative and they both worked so hard to try to find fish. We hooked a Bonita about an hour in - then fished and waited till almost the end before hooking and landing a beautiful Mahi Mahi. We will definitely be back to Aruba and we will certainly book an experience or two or 3 with them again. Thanks for a great time fishing in Aruba.

Great 1st Mate
Half Day Trip (AM) on December 17, 20255 adults
We only did a 4 hour trip, Caught a few bonito and a pretty nice Blackfin Tuna. The captain was pretty quiet and just drove the boat, but the 1st Mate was incredible. Super great energy, passion and knowledge of fishing and the island were amazing. All of the bait rigs were top notch! Highly recommend! Tight lines!
