We had an absolutely amazing experience with Mother Ocean Charters, and I can’t recommend Captain Kyle highly enough! From the moment we stepped on the boat until the end of our trip, everything exceeded our expectations. Captain Kyle was phenomenal with our 10-year-old son. He took the time to answer every question, shared tips and tricks for using fishing equipment our son had never used before, and was genuinely just as excited as he was every time he reeled in a fish. Watching Captain Kyle encourage him and celebrate each catch made the experience so much more special. Thanks to Captain Kyle’s knowledge of the area and ability to put us right where the fish were biting, our son had the fishing trip of a lifetime. He truly made our son’s entire vacation unforgettable. The trip itself was an incredible value, and Captain Kyle went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable. When I started getting extremely hot, he didn’t hesitate to stop at a beautiful sandbar so we could cool off before continuing to fish. That level of thoughtfulness and flexibility meant so much and really showed how much he cares about his guests having the best possible experience. To top it all off, Captain Kyle cleaned and expertly filleted all of our fish at the end of the trip, making it so easy for us to take our fresh catch home and enjoy it. The trip was a delight! We did a 2 hour catch and release trip with two kids, ages 9 and 10. Captain Kyle was easy to talk to, very kind, and very patient with kids (and adults😂) who asked a lot of questions. We spotted a few dolphin then went to the mangroves. We caught about 12 speckled sea trout, 1 snook, and 1 lady fish. We also saw a cormorant gulp down a sea trout. The sun was out, the weather was perfect, snacks were had, the company was good, and the fish were biting. It was a golden day. Thanks, Captain Kyle!

Our family had an absolute BLAST on this trip. Captain Josch was fantastic. He was very friendly and took great care of us. This was our first fishing charter and he made us feel right at home. He made sure our lines were constantly baited and took us to multiple locations where we caught some HUGE fish. We got to see dolphins and manatees as well, which made our trip even more special. GREAT JOB MOTHER OCEANS CHARTER!! THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!

First time out. We did not catch a whole bunch to take back home with us. However Captain Kyle made the trip worth while. (With fishing you have good days and bad days no matter who Captain is.)Thank you for your knowledge and professionalism. We learned alot about salt water fishing and will definitely return some day. As I writing this I am about to grille up some saltwater trout. Thanks again for a great morning of fishing!!!

I had not been fishing in many years. and I’m so glad we chartered with this company. Captain Josh was terrific and helped a couple of inexperienced anglers fall in love with fishing. Caught several fish and had a great time. 

Great first fishing experience! We took our son on this charter for his first time fishing off a boat, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Kyle was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had a great time. We had a blast and we made some awesome memories together. Highly recommend this charter for families and anyone looking for a fun day on the water!

This was our first family fishing excursion with our 2 boys. We caught Grouper, Snapper, Dogfish, Jurel, Catfish and Redfish. Captian Josch was experienced and took us to spots where we would catch fish. He was also very helpful and attentive with baiting the hooks and repacing broken lines quickly so the boys could keep fishing. They boys said, “This was the best fishing trip ever!” They’re already asking to return next year and to book Captain Josch.

Captain Kyle was very accomodating and we were able to catch a good mix of fish including Snook and Grouper! Great times - highly recommend! Kyle is also very quick to respond to messages!

We had an awesome time fishing the grass flats with Captain Josh! We caught 4 big keepers: a red fish, 2 trout and a sheepshead. My son almost got a huge blue fish and my husband got a small bonnethead shark that we put back. Josh was the highlight: knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic, and a great hype man. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Captain Kyle asked us what our goals were for the day and he did just what we asked for. We wanted to try for some big fish first and then some quality fish to take back for supper. We started out with fish on within minutes of putting the trolling motor in the water. We fished for a variety of fish and ended up landing some Snook, Redfish, Jack, and Trout. Captain Kyle was very knowledgeable and a great guide especially answering all my 10 year old son’s questions.
