With Mother Oceans "adventures your way" policy you can rest assured that this will be the perfect trip. We can accommodate everybody. For fishing we can drift the flats or go up next and cast to mangrove shorelines or docks. We can hit the sandbar and cool off. Stop by and check out the dolphins or even watch the sunset. For something different we can even stop and pull some of the captains personal crab traps (seasonal).
Young ones are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, we normally keep a good selection on board. Also remember to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your adventure begins aboard a 20' SeaCraft center console with room for 6 passengers (4 on fishing trips). It comes with all the essentials and top of the line electronics including sonar, side scan, bottom scan and Livescope for the best chance of success.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is normally provided depending on the trip.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations. If you do want to keep your catch we will fillet and bag it up.
It's a good idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat. There will be water provided, but you are welcome to bring your own drinks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, we do ask no glass bottles. Cooler space and ice are provided

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Mother Ocean Charters, and I can’t recommend Captain Kyle highly enough! From the moment we stepped on the boat until the end of our trip, everything exceeded our expectations. Captain Kyle was phenomenal with our 10-year-old son. He took the time to answer every question, shared tips and tricks for using fishing equipment our son had never used before, and was genuinely just as excited as he was every time he reeled in a fish. Watching Captain Kyle encourage him and celebrate each catch made the experience so much more special. Thanks to Captain Kyle’s knowledge of the area and ability to put us right where the fish were biting, our son had the fishing trip of a lifetime. He truly made our son’s entire vacation unforgettable. The trip itself was an incredible value, and Captain Kyle went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable. When I started getting extremely hot, he didn’t hesitate to stop at a beautiful sandbar so we could cool off before continuing to fish. That level of thoughtfulness and flexibility meant so much and really showed how much he cares about his guests having the best possible experience. To top it all off, Captain Kyle cleaned and expertly filleted all of our fish at the end of the trip, making it so easy for us to take our fresh catch home and enjoy it. 10/10, no questions. capt kyle was phenomenal across the board. we caught a ton of fish in a variety of species, swam, and saw some dolphins! my wife had our two kids (8 and 5) and they had an absolute blast. kyle knows all the spots to make it a perfect day. it was “slow” for us, but we still landed plenty of fish! highly recommend capt kyle. 100% as advertised and will be booking with him again!
The trip was a delight! We did a 2 hour catch and release trip with two kids, ages 9 and 10. Captain Kyle was easy to talk to, very kind, and very patient with kids (and adults😂) who asked a lot of questions. We spotted a few dolphin then went to the mangroves. We caught about 12 speckled sea trout, 1 snook, and 1 lady fish. We also saw a cormorant gulp down a sea trout. The sun was out, the weather was perfect, snacks were had, the company was good, and the fish were biting. It was a golden day. Thanks, Captain Kyle!
Great first fishing experience! We took our son on this charter for his first time fishing off a boat, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Kyle was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had a great time. We had a blast and we made some awesome memories together. Highly recommend this charter for families and anyone looking for a fun day on the water!
this is a great way to get out there and see if fishing is for you. Being in the bay away from rough seas you get to focus on just the fishing. We had two first timers and one that got sea sick forty years earlier and swore off fishing. We all had a great time and the captain was super with all of us. Thanks and would definetly go with him again

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
