This trip offers anglers access to the smaller lakes around Taupo. Using a loch style method, where you drift with the wind, let Sarah show you NZ Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout fisheries at their finest.

This is a relaxing and productive way of fishing. We use a couple of methods depending upon your skill level, ensuring everyone catches fish, experienced or novice.

You'll find yourself aboard a 14' Aluminum fishing that holds up to 2 passengers plus the Captain. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without such as GPS and electric motor.

Your captain will provide rods and reels if you need it, but you are welcome to bring your own.

The captain will call you closer to the time to discuss your fishing licence requirements, and the best venue to make your experience in New Zealand memorable.

Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
