Solutions Charters welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites!
Your excursion begins aboard a 22' Sea Fox center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.

James and first mate were prompt, well prepared and offered a good experience. He found a hot spot as we cought many fish: sea bass, spots, pin fish. Unfortunately nothing big enough to bring home, but a fun time anyway. Reservation process and communications were easy and good. We had three in our group. His boat could have handled 3-4 more easily. I hope to do this again next year.
First fishing trip with my cousins we had an amazing time Captian James ws great. We had a wonderful time with him. The next time we are in Myrtle Beach we will book with him again.
we caught spanish, a few blue’s, and some sea bass. towards the end we caughy a 2 1/2 foot shark witch made my sons day! I’d recommend james because he’s really good with kids ans put us on fish right away.
james was a lot of fun, very accommodatingto our needs of kids. he got us on the fish and we had an absolute blast. highly recommend and we will be back. Great trip for families or groups.
