Spend the day with NorthWest Outdoor Expeditions and get hooked on fishing in Woodland! With Captain Jesse at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

140,000 Chinook are going to make their journey up the Columbia River this spring. Lets catch some so you can taste the best eating salmon!

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

You'll be casting lines from a 20' Alumaweld aluminum fishing boat with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. Jesse will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

If there's more you'd like to know about fishing with NorthWest Outdoor Expeditions, just send Capt. Jesse a message down below.

Columbia River Salmon Fishing
8 Hour Trip – Columbia River (360) on September 4, 20252 adults
My son and I booked a Columbia River Salmon fishing trip in early September. The first time fishing the river was very fun. Our Captain, Jesse Rainwater, worked hard to land our limit of nice fat Chinook. The experience went safe and smooth. We saw river wildlife in the water and on the shores; many species of birds, seals, and some wild fisherman, lol. The Columbia has large, ocean-going vessels that visit the different river ports. They provided a cool looking scene as they moved through the water. I recommend this boat and Jesse as your guide.
