The ‘Guerrero del Mar’ (Sea Warrior) is a 32’ USA Blackfin, powered by twin 315 HP Cummins engines. Its large deck can comfortably accommodate up to 6 anglers.
The boat also features a flybridge, as well as a fighting chair, outriggers, downriggers, live bait tank, and navigational equipment. There’s a bathroom and an indoor cabin, as well as a stereo and snorkeling equipment for your enjoyment.
The crew uses high-quality Penn and Shimano fishing equipment, and can show you a range of different fishing techniques that are best for targeting local species. You can try out light and heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, and fly fishing.
Choose between a variety of trips on offer, and target many different species that call these waters their home. You’ll target many species, including Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, Tuna, Cubera Snapper, and Amberjack. Trips include rods, reels, and terminal tackle, lures, fish cleaning, snacks, and drinks.

3/4 Day Trip – Offshore

These guys are the best. Look no farther. The day before our fishing trip was planned I was in the hospital getting fluids from a stomach bug. The crew was very understanding and work with me to reschedule the trip. The day of the trip we were running late because it took 1h to get a Uber. Again very understanding. My 2 boys and I had a great time. I did not want to kill my boys first time offshore fishing being on a vacation. We booked a 3/4 day. We caught two 6 foot sailfish. We lost two sailfish and two chicken dolphin due to my kids being rookies. All the fruit, sandwiches, soft drinks, beer, and water you want.

3/4 Day Trip – Offshore

Charter was good overall but we’d requested to troll a little and then do some inshore so everyone could catch something. However when we got there, they only had trolling gear. We had 5 people and and it’s pretty rare to pull in 5 fish in one day just trolling but we did catch two awesome sailfish. However, three of the 5 in our group didn’t get to even touch a rod. So great if you’re a small group and want billfish but not good if you want everyone to catch something. Also, just be aware that the boat will be blowing diesel smoke around the boat the entire time. Don’t bother us but it could bother some.

Full Day Trip - Offshore
Awesome day to wrap up a week in Costa Rica
We had a party of 6, almost all newbies to offshore fishing. Day started out a little slow but the captain got word from other boats of tuna. Soon we were surrounded by dolphins and then it was tuna, tuna and more tuna! The captain and crew were professional, friendly and respectful, and were a big part in making the day fun. If I ever find myself back here again someday I will absolutely look these guys up!
