Around the Keys it's common to catch Snapper, Grouper, Grunt, Jacks, Barracuda, and Sharks. If we have the weather to go offshore then we go looking for for Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, and more if conditions are right.

On the day of your trip you're likely to anchor up and bottom fish using light tackle in anywhere from 20-80ft. Captain Jojo can also try trolling inshore or if the weather permits, offshore. For the more experienced and adventurous among you, there's spearfishing. Or if you don't mind the dirty side of things, help us pull our stone crab traps and we will show you how to harvest the claws and how to bait the traps.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, we will have one. Snacks and electrolyte drinks are never a bad idea for a boost of energy when needed!

Your day begins aboard a 26' Twin Vee catamaran with space for 6 passengers, but for comfort we max out at 4 for our fishing charters. We have all the essentials. There's also a marine toilet on board. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle rigged up &ready for all of the different kinds of fish we are targeting. We use cut bait and chum, artificial lures, and live bait when its available.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Don't forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. A hat and long sleeve spf performance shirt is a great idea too. Bottled water and ice is provided but feel free to bring drinks, beers, ice, and water if you'd like!
