Plan B Charters is a child-friendly charter service, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

Your excursion begins aboard a 30' Phoenix sportfishing vessel with room for 7 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Alberto will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
