SPecies like Bluefish, Striped Bass, Tautog, Scup (Porgy), Little Tunny (False Albacore), Skipjack, and more are in the cards if you cast your line at the right time of year. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Benjamin also offers fly fishing.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea – luckily, Capt. Benjamin will have some on board!
Capt. Benjamin runs a 17' Carolina Skiff with room for 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.

Captain Ben has been fishing the waters of Cape Cod Massachusetts since he was just 10 years old. Ben is a USCG licensd captain, CPR certified, and has hundreds of hours of experience on his local waters. He specializes in light tackle inshore fishing for Striped Bass and False Albacore. His favorite way to fish is throwing large topwater plugs for big Striped Bass. Ben has landed numerous 30-40 pound class Stripers over the years all over the Massachusetts coastline. This past Spring Ben landed a 51 inch Striper from his kayak casting a soft plastic at first light. Ben caught his first Tuna at age 12, a 130 pound Bluefin landed on standup 50 pound class gear. Ben has worked at local Cape Cod tackle shop 'Sports Port' in Hyannis for the past four summers, further deepening his knowledge of the local fishing scene and allowing him to stay dialed in on the bite. Ben is a natural born teacher, he is patient, cooperative, and enthusiastic both on and off the water. During the 'offseason' Ben teaches middle school Social Studies, while of course squeezing in as much fishing time as possible on the weekends. Whether it be from his kayak, tin boat, or 25 foot Grady White 'The 3 Buoys,' Ben is always on the water during fishing season
